Each year, the Journal of Analytical Toxicology (JAT) invites the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT), Inc., to edit a special issue of the journal to coincide with SOFT’s annual meeting. It is my honor to be selected to serve as this year’s special issue editor. I encourage all SOFT members to submit to this year’s special issue of JAT. It is through sharing our work with colleagues in a peer-reviewed journal that we promote progress and growth in the field.
