Optional Tours

The Scientific Program for the 2004 Joint Meeting of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists and The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists is divided into six categories of forensic toxicology, as follows:

• Analytical Methods
• Alternative Matrices
• Behavioral Toxicology
• Clinical & Environmental Toxicology
• Forensic Urine Drug Testing & Adulteration
• Postmortem Toxicology

Platform presentations and posters will be assigned to one of the above topics and fall within that scientific program. Abstracts will be selected from those submitted by the May 3, 2004 deadline and assigned to the appropriate category. The presenting authors of all posters and presentations will be required to register for the meeting. Only abstracts written in English will be considered.

There will be four options available for you to publish the work you present at the 2004 Joint Meeting of SOFT and TIAFT.  Special issues of the Journal of Analytical Toxicology, Forensic Science International, and the Journal of Chromatography will be published after the conclusion of the joint meeting.  Additionally, proceedings from the meeting will be published electronically and distributed to all registrants. To submit your manuscript for consideration into one of the special issue journals or the meeting proceedings, please hand your prepared manuscript in at the registration desk sometime during the course of the 2004 Joint Meeting of SOFT and TIAFT.
