Job Description: 

Essential functions:
• Supervises all Collector and Processor activities including orientation and training.
• Defines, then evaluates competency and performance of employees; administer reviews
• Ensures specimen integrity by enforcing laboratory procedures for collection and handling.
• Participates in the Laboratory’s Quality Management Program.
• Monitors Collector and Processor duties at each location to ensure that they fall within the defined Compliance boundaries defined by PremierTox.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times, and teaches and monitors staff to do the same in accordance with HIPAA.
• Participates in Compliance site visits to collector/processor locations.
• Develops and implements follow up corrective action for QM and Compliance outliers.
• Ensures staffing levels are appropriate for each location, including coverage for vacation and unscheduled absences.
• Minimizes unneeded expenses, such as overtime, by developing creative solutions.
• Enforces and provides training for subordinates to ensure comprehension of PremierTox policies and procedures
• Preliminary Customer service inquiries
• Evaluates workflow at each site to ensure quality standards
• Support payroll processing by monitoring overtime, correcting missing punches, PTO and Sick time review and approval and approve bi-weekly timecards of collectors and processors
• Employee staffing scheduling to ensure proper coverage
• Liaison between collectors/processors and laboratory
• Any other job duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications:
• Associates degree in business administration or similar is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of clinical liaison experience or similar role in a corporate environment.
• Possess an advanced level of computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint). This includes the ability to apply advanced formatting to MS Word documents, develop creative PowerPoint presentation, to build Excel spreadsheets, and to create MS Access queries, forms, and reports.
