Bio-Tox Laboratories, Inc., located in Riverside, California is looking for a Forensic Technician.  This is an excellent entry level opportunity for an individual who enjoys the day-to-day “hands on” operations of a busy lab environment and for potential career growth.

Under general supervision the laboratory technician shall be responsible for performing general laboratory tasks in conjunction with and preparation for the laboratory’s specimen testing of high complexity.  The laboratory technician shall be competent to perform qualitative and semi-quantitative screening analysis of moderate complexity for drugs in biological samples for the reporting of accurate, reliable and prompt test results.  Laboratory technicians will have familiarity with the theory, procedures, and techniques necessary to produce reliable results and conclusions.  The laboratory technician will work independently or collaboratively to provide a variety of support to all laboratory personnel.

Education:  Should be working towards a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a major in Forensic Science, Criminalistics, Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry or a closely related laboratory science field.

Experience:  Laboratory experience is helpful.
