Ammon Analytical Laboratory, LLC, has an immediate opening for a Toxicology Technologist in the confirmations department. The laboratory is accredited by CAP and NYS Department of Health to perform forensic and clinical toxicology testing. Ammon offers a great benefits package and competitive salary. This position is for the 2nd shift, Tuesday – Saturday.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- confirmation analysis by LC-MS and GC-MS to include sample preparation and data review
- analytical reagent preparation
- instrument maintenance and operation
- adherence to SOP and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Immediate previous experience in high production, accredited forensic toxicology laboratory
- BS with 5-7 years of relevant experience; or MS with 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Required previous experience with Agilent 6890N/5973N and Chemstation
- Previous experience with LC-MS\MS analysis (ABSciex/Analyst), desired but not required
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and detail oriented
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and newer
