Phamatech, Inc. is seeking an experienced GC/MS Supervisor. The position will have primary responsibility for operating the confirmation area, and maintaining quality control and quality assurance requirements of the forensic drug testing laboratory. The position will oversee the operation of GC/MS and LC/MS/MS instrumentation; be involved in developing and validating new methods and instrumentation; assists in writing procedure manuals; designs, plans, or re-organizes laboratory space; and will serve as an expert witness in court cases.
The minimum qualifications are as follows: A Bachelor's degree in science, toxicology or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years experience working with GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS technologies. Previous expert witness testimony preferred but not required. Good skills in method validation and development. The successful candidate will be familiar and comfortable in a CAP/CLIA laboratory environment.
