Job Description: The Forensic Scientist/Certifying Scientist is primarily responsible for quantitative GC/MS data review and reporting of validated test results to clients. Additionally candidates for the position must be able to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain a GC/MS system with minimal supervision.  Other duties may include but are not limited to: analytical method development, analytical method validation, solid phase extraction, and providing expert witness testimony in court cases. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in biological science, chemistry, toxicology, laboratory science or a related field of study with a minimum three years of experience as a Certifying Scientist in a forensic or clinical setting is a required.
