What Makes the Issue Special
The Experimental Design and Impact on Toxicology (EDIT) Award recognizes the paper published in the Special Issue that has the greatest impact on toxicology. The SOFT Publications Committee selects the winner, and the award is presented to the paper’s first author. All accepted manuscripts with a SOFT member as the lead author are eligible for consideration. The EDIT Award consists of a plaque and carries no monetary prize.
Additionally, the JAT Special Issue is published in tandem with the SOFT and TIAFT annual meetings. Guest Editors are selected from the societies with the Special Issues taking on a focus from topics presented in the conference discussions. The journal encourages submissions from the communities around these societies to highlight their work.
JAT is highly active on Twitter in its efforts to engage with toxicologists and disseminate the latest research in the field. Follow the journal's official Twitter account.
